GAUGE is the risk engine. Before CORE can execute any trade, GAUGE must approve the position size, set stop-loss and take-profit levels, and verify that the trade doesn't exceed portfolio risk limits. GAUGE enforces a hard cap of 15% per position and 40% total portfolio exposure. It can also emergency-freeze positions if market conditions change rapidly.
